Out-patient Rehabilitation

Our Speech-Language Therapy team provides ongoing outpatient rehabilitation for individuals who require continued support following discharge from hospital. We also offer outpatient therapy for those individuals who are referred from the community.

Therapy sessions are offered on a weekly basis (or more frequently, if clinically indicated). Therapy is complemented by personalised home programmes designed to maximise progress between appointments.

We work closely with our Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy colleagues to coordinate appointments wherever possible. This allows patients requiring multidisciplinary intervention to attend appointments across multiple disciplines on the same day, reducing travel and improving convenience.

We also offer home visits to individuals living in the surrounding communities and residential care facilities when attendance at the clinic is not possible.

Family and caregiver education, training, and counselling remain central to our approach, ensuring that loved ones are equipped with the knowledge and skills to support rehabilitation and encourage meaningful participation in everyday life.
